About the Course
The American Heart Association (AHA) HeartCode® Complete program is an advanced blended learning solution designed to provide healthcare professionals with high-quality Basic Life Support (BLS) training through a combination of adaptive online learning and hands-on skills verification.
RQI Healthcare Provider BLS integrates the AHA HeartCode® BLS online course with the innovative RQI Simulation Station, allowing learners to build confidence and demonstrate CPR competency using realistic simulation technology. The program follows the latest AHA 2020 Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
- Apply the concepts of the AHA Chain of Survival
- Recognize cardiac arrest and respiratory emergencies
- Deliver effective ventilations using barrier devices and bag-mask devices
- Demonstrate the safe and effective use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Perform as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR scenarios
- Relieve foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) in adults, children, and infants
- Demonstrate competence through simulation-based hands-on assessment
