DGR GCAA Function 4.1.B / IATA CBTA Function 7.1.A
This Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) training program is designed in accordance with General Civil Aviation Authority Function 4.1.B and International Air Transport Association CBTA Function 7.1.A requirements. The program provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to meet regulatory compliance requirements for the safe transportation of dangerous goods by air.
The course covers the classification and identification of dangerous goods, preparation of dangerous goods consignments, and completion of required transport documentation including the Dangerous Goods Declaration (DGD) and Air Waybill. Participants will learn to accurately apply the current IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) Manual for the processing, packing, marking, labelling, and handling of dangerous goods shipments.
The program also focuses on packaging specifications, net quantity limitations, hazard communication requirements, and reporting procedures to the appropriate authorities. Upon completion, participants will be able to perform dangerous goods handling tasks safely and efficiently while understanding the legal responsibilities of stakeholders involved in the transportation of dangerous goods by air.

Certification
A Certificate valid with GCAA will be issued upon the successful completion of the course assessment. Being an CBTA approved provider (IATA Montreal, Canada) , the successful candidates can obtain IATA Certification as well. This Certificate is valid for two years.
