Dangerous Goods Training GCAA Course Code : 4.1.I/IATA CBTA Function 7.8.A
Program Overview
The course is designed to guide you in the tasks and responsibilities to ensure that you are competent to perform your job function and be in full compliance with the regulations. It has been designed as per IATA's DGR - section 1.5 and in accordance with function 7.8 in IATA's 'Dangerous Goods Training Guidance'.
Objectives
Upon completion of this course you will be able to:
- Identify and classify dangerous goods
- Interpret hazard communication
- Detect unpermitted dangerous goods in baggage
- Interpret NOTOCs
- Apply Emergency Procedures
Target Audience
- Airline and ground handling flight operations officers
- Operator's and ground handling carrying a role of flight dispatcher
Pre-requisites
- Recommended level is Entry-level and Intermediate
- The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 or the equivalent

Delivery

Exam
The participant is required to score at least 80% to pass the mastery test.
Certificate Awarded
The participant will be awarded with Immaculate - IATA completion certificate upon successful completion of the course.
